Temp switch question
I've done some research on this but haven't found a definitive answer. I need to change my temp switch (the one on the radiator). How much coolant do I need to prepare to lose - a little or a lot?
Also afterwards, do I need to bleed the system or no? Thanks much in advance. |

You'll need to drain the coolant at least to the bottom of the temp sensor. This should be on the upper right hand corner of the radiator. It won't be much coolant. You could probably just get by with distilled water (IMPORTANT, not water from the tap). Afterwards, crack the bleeder.
