On Board Computer Buttons Stuck
I have a '92 325i that have the "1"s and the "100"s button stuck in the on board computer. So for instance, I cannot change the single mins or the hours in my clock. The buttons feels like they are flat and are not "springing" back from pressing.
Is there anything I can do? Can I get the cover off to "clean" the buttons? Thanks for looking. |

Funny, the same thing happened to my car, but I disconnected the battery for some unrelated task, and all of a sudden, they started working. Perhaps they are not really stuck?

It could be something as simple as grease from your fingers gettign behind there and sticking things up. I'd maybe try using some contact cleaner on the panel and see what happens. Radio Shack has this stuff called potentiometer cleaner. It is non-conductive so it will be safe to use.
