Guess dyno result & your own 3.0SC boosted build results
I've been on this forum for many years now and in that time seen quite a few 3.0SC engines get boosted. Results have varied from 300hp to over 400hp.
I have just had the results from my final dyno tune and would really appreciate those that have boosted there 3.0SC engines your input as to what dyno figures you achieved and with what mods as I feel my results are a bit on the low side for the mods I have done ![]() Also have a guess at my final dyno figure based on the engine spec below : 1980 3.0SC euro engine (rebuilt to standard spec apart from following) 993 headstuds 993 cam Port and polished heads RS cut valves With tweaked CIS and no turbo was making 230hp crank. Added later : 3.2 intake manifold Full bay IC (specialist custom built, light weight, high flow) Tial 46mm WG with 0.5bar spring OBX headers K27-7200 BOV to atmosphere Omex 710 ECU with coil packs Going Super Fast trigger wheel kit Siemens Deka 80lb injectors Zork tube

A 3.2 AFAIK stock is supposed to make 350 flywheel hp at 0.5 bar, so I'm going to guess 310-320 or 270-280 whp???

Interesting. Would your smaller displacement be affecting things a bit?

How fresh are the engines you guys are slapping turbos on? I am soooo tempted to add boost.

I dunno if I’d read too much into numbers. I’ve seen a fair disparity between U.S dyno and Australian dyno results for example.
If the motor is doing the right thing and AFR's etc are all good then I be happy.

Dyno result was 320 crank. After gearbox rebuild may try 0.7bar
