Hi Reaper.

I found some old photos in my drawer. Maybe this can help you.
This is original photos of a factory car that went to be the Baby DP935 L 1.4 L
Owner/Driver: Lundgard - Mechanic; J. Zirkelbach. (DP)

I will not steal your thread. For information Kremer and DP motorsport is still alive. Kremer was supplied most body from DP Motorsport.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1199562162.jpg

Also I found a Test of a DP935 (from the beginning of eighties) Look at the acceleration figures.0-200km/h (Hur snabb) a Ferrari TR was standing still! 0-200km/h in 10.9 sec! vs Ferrari TR 19.8 sek
Wow this was on a street legal DP 935!

dial 911 01-28-2008 08:08 PM

any updates on the car?

Reaper930 01-29-2008 06:43 PM

I've emailed the shop a few times, they haven't sent anything back. I'm going on leave in March, if I don't hear anything by then I'll have an update for sure when I get back. Sometimes being half way around the world sucks.

DPHANS can you send me a copy of that article? I would like to ad it to the "resource" section of my DP site.

I cannot read it also. I have a 1984 Kremer DP bodied car with the single turbo. I happen to have a highly modified 3.3 Twin turbo motor on the bench and was thinking of installing it but thought it was unavailable as an option at that time for a street car. This article would validate the use for install in my if used at this earlier time. Please Scan and send article to me thru my email address listed on my website www.voitureltd.com. greatfully appreciated.

Color check...the shop has been super busy and so have I thus progress going slow but hey, we make the time we can right? So they painted the front bumper and front fenders to see how I liked the color. They're going to go back and darken it up more to get rid of the grey tone then when I approve they'll shoot the whole car.

I actually really dig the finish, its PPG with a flexnflat clear coat built into it that adds the flattening agent. Its almost dark enough but Fred said he could go a bit darker so that's what I want.

On the louvers, the shop cut them slightly larger in the front just as I wanted, they also did an AMAZING job of cutting them out along with the rear facing vents on the front fenders behind the front wheels. Just like the pics huh? I really have to give a hand to the body guys turning these parts from race quality to this while suiting my needs.

And since we all know words are useless....enter the Blackbird

Reaper930 02-19-2008 11:19 PM

Do they work now?

jsveb 02-19-2008 11:56 PM

great pictures...

Hi
Pictures load fine load now. Q: if I give your discription of the color to a paintshop here in DK will they be able to interpret the color or what do I need?
thx
Jesper

Reaper930 02-20-2008 03:22 AM

Yes, they need to have PPG paint, for this we used regular PPG Black, then mixed in the clear coat/flattener. The flattening agent in the clear coat is called "Flexnflat" also made by PPG. About a 20% mix will do the trick, research online using google and the "Flexnflat" name and you'll get tons of info.

Good luck!
