Yo Reaper -- didn't know if you saw this phot posted elsewhere by URY914. I saw it & thought of your car.

Gauges
Jeremy, sick 935 thanks for posting - is that the Kremer K4?
North Hollywood Speedo does magic...period. I made the final call for the red LED on the red background of the gauge which makes the numbers slightly harder to read, but with the human eye there is more bleedout so they will be visable at night. Stats: All red faces with black digits and black needles Clock replaced with 1.5 bar boost guage that shows vacuum 220 mph speedo And other bells and whistles Preview of the 10,000 rpm tach with the "demon glow" I'll post more pics once they've been installed in the car. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1217914390.jpg |
Thanks for your PM. I am glad you liked my car.
Come home safely so you can enjoy your awesome ride!:D My dad also sends his best wishes. What branch of the Services are you in so that I may more properly address you? Best Regards, Max |

I got the tail lights from Rebel Racing Products and I couldn't be happier with the service etc.

Wheel & Gauges
Partial update, Porsche Motorsport steering wheel goes on with quick release & North Hollywood Speedo gauges.
We'll soon have the gauges in the car, but here are some pics, just got the shot of the gauges from Hartmut, and he is a wonderful guy to work with. Shot showing the dish, I have short arms so this will work well. The gauges shown in the car are not my gauges... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1218774650.jpg The dash is going to be freshened as well, all in due time. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1218774677.jpg Look ma! No wheel! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1218774704.jpg Alcantara's don't match well - might have to reupholster the seats. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1218774751.jpg Gauge Shot...just beautiful. These are the guages redone from original ones that Hartmut created for me, he did a FANTASTIC job! Great guy to work with. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1218774922.jpg |
I don't think the Jeffs photo of the car is K4, it is rather K3 or Joest 935 with 993GT1 like front unit. It looks very well proportioned and interesting to me, especially because I am a great GT1-993 fan.
http://autopixx.de/bilder/1280/almeras-porsche-gt1.jpg Almeras did some 993 street car modifications with GT1 like front, but that particular car has 935 K3 or Joest (or replica of something similar) rear side units. Very nice car though. Are you Reaper really going to change the seat surfaces because of the alcantara on wheel? You are going mad... :D. I really respect the color and material selection you have done there with the interior. |
In the Car

Hmmmm... Make sure you've got your welding goggles on before looking at those bad boys.;) Definately unique. Like the way the numbers are repositioned on the faces.
|
they look evil!
|
That entire car is evil!
