Very cool.
The top picture of the front bumper has a sheen that is just perfect stealth. It may just be the angle as the others don't have that same look.
There is an actual SR-71 sitting about a mile down the road from where I work. I can take some pictures if you actually want to mimic that color.

Brian, thanks man. the lighting was bad and its a difficult color to capture on film - the more i look at the pics the more I'm leaning towards having him keep the color just as it is. I'm torn...

And if you happen to take pics of the SR71, i'd be more than thrilled to see them.

You have to stencil this little guy on the corner of the rear deck lid... make him small and maybe in a light gray to offset the balck.

He'd be PERFECT for this project. The "SKUNK WORKS" logo...

color

IMHO that is just perfect (judging by the pictures off course). Skunkworks and the stealth concept is exactly what comes to mind. Have seen the SR-71 in Huntsville by the way. simply awesome.

That paint job looks unreal! your going to scare the bejeebers out of anyone you pull up behind. If only there was a stealth paint to keep the police radar off of you...

I jumped off the exit on the way home and took some pictures for you.
This thing is AWSOME in person. The color you have now is perfect - grey/black.

CHECK THIS OUT - located behind the cockpit on the left side :
