Kremer 935 on ebay
This is just the car to show up in to your local PCA event. Their stiff upper lips will probably crack

Maybe just a really large guy owned it. I prefer the shovel spoiler with low covered headlights. Last edited by copbait73; 02-08-2008 at 05:32 PM.. |

well, if the Kremer street cars can run 1.3 bar, then I don't see why everyone is scared to go over1 bar. they've been doing it since the 70's.

granted its not a true mfi flat fan race 35, but its still a rare car in some terms, or to be blunt about it, its a cut up plastic 930 styled after the 935. lol. I like it either way.

Don't get me wrong , I do not mean to sound as though I am knocking the car . I was just saying it is not a 935 .
I think if it was dropped a few inches the stance would really bring the car around .

From the description it is simply a Kremer modified 930. It is what it is. Those were cool cars in the day.
I'd quess that you can run 1.3 bar for a short time. Engine life will be greatly reduced. That is why most folks don't venture past 1.0bar. 0-100mph can probably be done in < 8 seconds using 400WHP with the right driver abusing the clutch. I don't believe it could be done with 400CHP.

Maybe so on the 8 sec 0 to 100 time, but that 190 MPH claim on just shy of 400 HP seems like a stretch to me. To me, that's starting to approach Yellow Bird territory (although still distant), and that car had some serious machinery (considering the era)! Ah screw it, what the hell do I know, maybe this fucher lives up to the hype...

Grey market cars are not any worse than any other car that is over 20 years old. They all need a thorough going over before buying. This "grey market" myth may have been accurate 20 years ago, but I think the field has already been weeded out.

I think he was acknowledging the wear on the drivers seat bolster is a lot for 25k. I think the performance numbers could be accurate because yellowbird was still an all steel 911 with the stock fenders. the dp cars weigh in around 2200-2300 lbs if I remember correctly. so the reduced weight and better aerodynamics of the slantnose add up. I know the 935's came in at just over 2000lbs race ready. VZ935 could you verify this?

I pulled out the Recaro's, stripped and redyed them and you couldn't tell the scuff's were there. Les

Though not a 935, they were marketed by DP as DP935's. Not sure what the difference between the Kremer & DP was since DP did the body work for Kremer. The DP photo gallery page shows the same body work, except the 3rd light mounting in the tail. I have photos showing the same i/c with DP & Kremer logos.
I asked the seller for a copy of the '87 article, maybe he just quoted the article. Here is a link to a 1984 Car & Driver article on a DP. Weight 2900 lbs., top speed 160. There are a few other articles on the site if you can read Swedish or German. http://www.dp935registry.com/index.php?page=text&id=caranddriver |

Okay...[[flame suit on]]...[[climbing to the highest limb I can find]]...THAT car as it's listed in the ad with CIS, 3.3L, and ONE basic K27 turbo, will NOT do 190!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to hide behind the anonymity, that is the interweb.... ![]()

Don't get too riled up Sandy, the car IS on e-bay after all. Not necessarily known for their truth in advertising policy.
