Me and my friend has renovate my engine and gearbox...Now is the question if i should have it so near orginal or modify to a beast... I know that is some money in this car when them is orginal,so do I sell it like it is and start up a another project?Or keep going on this car
What do you think??? My ambition is drive the car and not have in the garage and look pretty.. ![]() ![]() |

Yes these cars respond phenomenally to bolt-ons alone. I've done many power conversions where the OEM equipment is removed and packaged properly for long term storage. The value of the car is preserved and the enjoyment level goes way up. Bolt-ons can get you north of 375WHP alone. Driveability is also improved. There are many variations on the theme resulting in a 930 the runs and sounds just the way you want it to.

Did the mods you have done on my previous car last winter. Also ported the intake to 35mm. The performance compared to stock is really noticeable. Your really feel the difference. I would try out the car now before going further. Going further would be going to EFI.

I have yet to meet anyone who regrets modifying their 930. Just the basic bolt-ons are worth doing. Releasing the Jekyl & Hyde power contained within has only one effect...sublime intoxication leaving my heart pounding (almost better than sex). Something that newer turbos have had engineered out of them. I have spent hours checking the weather channel just looking for an opportunity to let the beast out. GO MAN GO!!!

The moral of this story: Many stock 930's at one time held a secret life for speed and performance through modifications. Buy a completely stock 930, and you very possibly will be buying a 930 that has not been completely stock all it's life. If you want a car that performs exponentially better than stock and you don't have the skills, then it's better to buy one that someone else has done a good professional job of modding, and has all the safety features that says something about the desire to protect the investment (I'm talking simple stuff like boost controller and AFR monitoring....which says that the PO was aware of the proper care and feeding of this animal for longevity purposes and not solely because he wanted to rod the holy ever loving bejesus out of her). And in today's sensitivities with stock vs. not, you get one hell of a better performer at a great price. Hold on to it for a few zillion years and someone will buy it back from you at a huge profit when gasoline powered super sports cars are no longer on the roads. The only time I would trust that a car is truely stock would be for an extremely low mileage garage queen. But I like to ride in fast cars, not ride some bittch queen. Man, am I on a roll tonight!!!
