There is no reason to apologize for that last pic. I love that the tail ends up looking like a cross between a ducktail and an early whaletail (with no rubber lip).

That list sounds like the factory version of my old Red Rocket. The Euro '78 SC donor was a factory option delete car. No A/C no sunroof no power anything. With the 930 fenders and turbo engine it weighed 2700lb wet. A lot of work to gut out a 965, why was that chassis chosen?

Brian, I chose the 965 because I already had a Brumos 3.6L turbo motor and I wanted a g50/52 Transmission. I found a 965 that need a paint job and that worked for me because I wanted to build the entire car. I also liked that it already had Bilstein PSS9?? Coil over suspension. Yes, It has been alot of work but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. More pics very soon. T

I'm really curious to see the final weight. The shell of this car would be considerably stiffer than a 911/930 shell, so if there isn't a huge weight penalty, that's really cool.

Sounds good. Mine should be back on the road by then.

I hope I have more time to spend this year enjoying the event.

I hope to see you and the car. Will you be driving it to Carmel?

Sounds great. I will ship the car in mid July. It will stay in Carmel for a few months.

You cannot no just ship a car from the east coasts to Carmel! It will get lonely, I will be more than happy to help you avoiding this

The intercooler alone is not going to allow enough air into the engine bay to cool the engine. The fan will pull from every hole in the compartment as pressure turns negative. It is likely the nice shroud will need a hole on the right side. Head temps will let you know how big the hole needs to be.
