dual cap distributor
Looking for some info from the group. Has anyone installed a 964 dual distributor on one of our 930's. Will it clear the up pipe to the inter cooler? If not are there some changes that can be done to accommodate. Iv's searched but not come up with turbo applications, only NA cars. Pic's would be a bonus. thanks Philip

no room - I dont even think you can fit a 12 plug dist / cap with an intercooler unless you get creative with routing the pressure pipe.

My 930 has a dual distributor with custom IC and IC tubing. This car was already modified when I bought it several years ago. From the looks of it comparing to a stock setup. Using a dual distributor would require creative solution for the IC tubing to clear it. It does not look like an easy task to accomplish but here are the photos I took to give you an idea of the setup using dual distributors. HTH.

I run a single 12 plug distributor and a long neck i/c. It's tight but everything fits with no mods.
