oil between intake and blocks

since i was half way there i decided to pull the intake manifold off. good and bad form it, well maybe bad and bad.
there was oil between the intake and the top of the injector blocks. inside the intake itself looks dirty but not oily like the top of the blocks.

the other bad was inevitable. a little dirt dell down in 2 of the ports. thankfully i was able to vacuum it out.

one of the studs on the heads had a good bit of white corrosion on it.

4 of the injector blocks had a tiny crack in the inside at the bottom. not a a crack that would let air in since it was on the inside.

i guess i am going to add 6 blocks to my order.

the tops and bottoms were deformed from the gaskets. i would have sanded them flat, but no need now

If any oil gets into the intake from burp over or the turbo it will end up seeping between the blocks. The intake air will continuously push/suck oil into the cylinders so eventually will look clean again.
The phenolic blocks crack with age and can manifest tiny vacuum leaks that are really hard to find. Good to change them out now.

if oil can get in there, can that be a source of an air leak? the cracks were small and on the inside of the ports.

just ordered 12 new blocks.

is there a gasket between the throttle body and intake? i did not find one on pelican. i did not find one for the AFM to intake either. i would like to remove both for cleaning.

i have my wur and FD in a box to send. i need to take it back out and remove the banjo fittings. still deciding about sending the injectors. been spending too much money.

Only 6 blocks are needed.
There is an O-ring between the TB and in the intake.
