Turbo powered 2.7 with dual weber
Have you ever seen this setup before?? :-)
Wonder how they control the fuel enrichment when boosting. Or how to have good AFR :-) Must also be a hot engine compartment I would think. ![]() A friend of mine bought this engine, so will have a look at this another day :-)

Been there done that on American iron. It is really hard to get enough fuel due to the long path the fuel has to travel. Basically, removed the jets completely to get enough fuel.
You also have far less response during transition of throttle due to airflow getting to cylinder FAR before fuel does. Takes lots of accelerator pump work. |

At least you don't need an intercooler due to vaporization of fuel.

I've seen a few old beetles run the same basic setup.

The more I look at this, the more I love it. It's something I'd do. The one thing that would make a huge difference in under hood temps would be wrapping the secondary pipe with header wrap and the downpipe too.
Might have got a little quicker spool too. |

Up until the 80's this basic application was the norm and had been for decades on planes and cars etc. Yes, hard to tune but simple and dead reliable. I love it.
