I'm trying to get the wife to let me go see my buddies up there (they are all drag racers) and yes I will be driving my car. So I really can't wait to meet you in your new car. I need to break in my new motor so a good drive will help . Kozmo ![]() |

Can anyone give us an update on where we're at in terms of meeting our goal? Last I saw was $10500 with 93 supporters on the 17th? This would be a really cool thing to accomplish if everybody continues to pitch in.

Hey all,
I received an e-mail back from Rebecca over at Hagerty Insurance. Unfortunately because of federal insurance regulatory rules, she could not post the link in their monthly magazine. So I suggested that maybe she could at least run it around their office??? Rebecca bettered that, by saying that she would post it on the entire company's employee bulletin board! Cross your fingers and hope we get a little traction here. And for you Mark H., I really would suggest that any future 930 you get your hands on, you should insure it through Hagerty. They are fair on the price, and awesome to work with when you need to file a claim. Mark |

"Thanks for taking the initiative, Mark. I tell ya....if they do publish it and we get a good response, Haggerty will be carrying the insurance for my "new" 930....that's a promise." I'll stand by that promise...whether or not they help this to gain some steam. Just posting it on their bulletin board tells a lot about them.

About half way to the target, and slowed down a bit. I think if everyone that can, would make a second donation, we hit it quickly!!!
I know some folks gave deeper first time around and a few others have been back for a second dip, but not most of us. Paul did a great job is setting up the donation site and getting this kicked off. There was a lot of initial excitement from our community, then life happens and we get distracted. I would really like to see us complete this and help Mark. He has unselfishly provided a tremendous amount of experience and advice on this forum. I know I have benefited from it, and I am sure most of the rest of us feel the same way. Do what you can to get this across the finish line ![]()

Looks like we've been re-stickied here - excellent.
THANKS for resurrecting this thread / initiative, Rick. It'd sadly gone completely cold / dead for a solid month unfortunately. Yet, a simple rustle of the bushes and up springs some further very kind participants!! We are at $11,875 as of today men!!! Excellent work, by all accounts. But yes, still a ways to go. While we've certainly surprisingly had more than a few "multiple donators" - and more keep popping in again - It Takes a Village, folks!!! We're marking the calendar until 7/24-7/27's turboPALOOZA where Mark takes delivery of his neu steed... and... hoping a strong number of youseses will join us for such and the ensuing shenanigans and debauchery. Please visit turboPALOOZA 2014: Special Stages PA / NY - July 24-27 for details, and hope to meet many more of you. Let's keep this rolling... can't always be me reviving things here unfortunately, so thanks again for the inquiry! |
