Fundamental factor for selecting most of these kits is determining any difference in filter surface area. Then know that swapping the filter media to a cotton gauze type cone filter allows for larger particals to enter which just wears the engine and turbo. On the 930 box, they have the nice engineered feature inside the airbox over the CIS meter plate assisting the flow. None of the aftermarket kits have seen utilized this. The original ZucZ / Powereflow / Airetek / Evoms were plastic and not so good and then the design was redone rotomolded ABS which was better but still inferior to the original design in my opinion. Also interesting is on some Mercedes CIS flow meter plates, they had an aluminium disc which aided flow. There was a spun aluminum product offered around the same time of the original Powerflow for the 930 that seemed to die off. Hard to sell without claiming +10hp..lol. My vote, modify the stock box to suite your needs if possible.
