IDA Weber carbs

Does anyone know where to have work done on a 911 IDA Weber carb. My air-mixture screw broke inside and need to have it repaired.
Thanks
Hipdoc

A machine shop might not be a bad idea. There are lots of porsche specific machine shops in CA that would be real familiar.

What’s the name of the machine shop(s) in CA that could tap it out?

Post a picture. I bet one of the experts here will have a solution. But we need to see exactly what you are dealing with.

You might try Aase Motors (704) 770-8187 - 1104 E. Elm Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92831. Alan is their motor man and is terrific. Good luck.

Jerry's Broken Drill & Tap in Santa Ana. EDM, they can burn it out without damaging the surrounding metal.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

Generally we only do complete restorations on MFI throttle bodies, Solex and Weber carburetors. We can fix almost anything.
The question is: do you want them restored?
