Piston Squirters
I am cleaning my case one last time before putting it all together and find that I can not blow air through half of them (they seem plugged). Even when I try to run some carb cleaner through the holes, I either get a drip or nothing at all. The others seem fine. I also noticed the small ports seem to be spring loaded??...

Try using a rubber tipped air nozzle if you aren't already. I posted some pictures in this thread: Piston Squirters!

From the "don't ask me how I know this" files...
You are blowing from the bearing side right? There is a check valve in there that keeps flow from going from the squirter to the bearing.
