993TT P&C's in a 993 NA Motor?

Hi, just a quick question, would 993TT P&C's bolt right into a N/A 993 engine without any case or head mods?

This is for an aftermarket turbo conversion for a mate's 993 C2S

If he can do that, then he'll shop around for second hand 993TT P&C's, or just slip in some lower compression JE Pistons in his existing cylinders.

What about 3.8 Turbo P&C's? Are these a bolt-in item, or does one have to machine out the case and heads?

Bump!

Never got an answer to this one. Does anyone know?

I think both the 993TT and NA 993 have the same bore & stroke, so swapping P&C's should theoretically work?!?

There are no 3.8 Turbo engines as far as I know. Only 3.8 engines I know about are rare RS models (without turbo, of course).

I believe 993TT pistons should be bolt-on to N/A 3.6 motor, but they are rare and still not stonger/lighter that custom made JE's, so It might be better upgrade path.

993TT P/C's do not fit the N/A 993 heads without modifications.

There are major differences in how the TT cylinders join & seal to the heads.

Hmmm, perhaps a set of 8.0:1 Forged JE's slipped into the existing cylinders would be a better option then?

That's the direction I am going in. Turbo pistons in 993NA cylinders.
