Inner Sprockets / Adjustment Flange
Same post as on used parts Forum. Looking for one inner sprocket or Adjustment Flange. I have seen them identified both ways. For a 72 911 T engine

Wayne,
Excuse my newbie ignorance, but I really am having one heck of a time understanding this cam timing process. I also have broken two teeth off of the inner sprockets while trying to get the left side timed. ( bear in mind that I have never rebuilt an engine before) Appreciate any assistance.

cassidyp,
mabe you could say how you did that as it should not take that much force to turn the cam(s) unless your up against a piston......

Something is seriously wrong if you are somehow breaking teeth off of your timing gears.
