question re: 3.0L 'piston kit'

Does anyone know of a kit (don't know if it was OEM or not) to upgrade the 3.0L to higher compression and slightly larger displacement ? I was talking to a fellow today who knew a guy who did that upgrade (when it was time for rebuild) and it significantly woke up the engine.
Thanks.

Short stroke 3.2 kit.
Mahle makes one and so do we.
70.4 mm crank and 98 mm bore.
any comp. ratio you want.
PM me for price.

The 98mm pistons (as recommended by Henry) are the only displacement upgrade you can do without machining the case.

You can also use LNEngineering cylinders and J&E pistons. I'm using that setup now (albeit with 100mm versions for 3.3L)
