Question Whaddaya think?

My friend just brought his 914-6 by for me to fix. He missed a shift at Laguna, went from 4th to 1st instead of 3rd. It barely runs, no tick tick tick like a broken rocker, and the exhaust on 4-6 is cold after it ran for a couple of minutes pulling it off of the trailer, whlie 1-3 is warm. I'll pull it out and apart tomorrow, but I'm wondering what you guys think. The first correct guess wins a Klondike bar!

Minimally, broken rocker arms and probably bent valves in cylinders 4-6. It happens easily at 8500 rpm. Sorry to hear about that.

Ask you friend to contact me for a wrong-gear downshift solution after it's together.

And we have a winner! Henry Schmidt, you are correct! I owe you one Klondike bar! Next time I drive south, I'll stop by and deliver one. What do you prefer, vanilla, chocolate or the one with gooey bits of something in the chocolate?
BTW, do you think that it bent the valves?

EVEN A BLIND SQUIRREL FINDS AN OCCASIONAL ACORN.

At 250 lb. I'll eat anything that looks like ice cream.

Sorry about the damage.
