With the Mahle P+C's, as long as the compression is kept down, as long as the boost was very mild and in check with sufficient IC and fuel, I wouldn't be worried. The other issue with the 100mm bore is that IMHO there isn't sufficient sealing "real estate" to flame ring w/o sacrificing integrity, especially with the Mahle cylinders being cast.

Thanks for the info. I'm currently using an Andial IC, but I'm looking for a DP full bay IC.

I went with the stock displacement as I couldn't justify the extra expense (this time......)

Now the engine's run in properly it's going like a dream

What did you end up doing to your engine? Colin told me that he would epxect to see close to 300 if not there with the twin plug 9Meister heads, 964 intake and the Motec using stock US spec 3.2 pistons and cylinders. Using Euro spec ones would boost that a little maybe to as high as 315-320. That wouldn't suck He did say that the Carrera 3.2 intake can't be fixed to flow the way he wants it to, so you have to go with the 964 unit......or maybe ITB's if you are really crazy.......lol
