Cylinder size code question

Is it permissible to mix in a number 3 Size Code cylinder in an engine were all the other cylinders are Size Code 1?

As long as the piston matches the cylinder it's OK.
Perfect? no, but you will not notice a performance difference.

It is not advised to run a 1 piston in a 3 cylinder.
