Finally Dyno'd the 2.6

Well, I finally got over to the shop to dyno the 2.6 last week. In the fall, it was running really lean at the upper end. So after winter hibernation, I swapped some jets and got it pretty evened out.

Engine is a 2.6:
Early aluminum case
66mm Counterweighted Crank
92mm Mahle P&C
2.2S Heads
Early S Cams
40 mm Webers
Twin Plugged with a Supertec distributor + Burns-Bros rotor
Standard early heat exchangers
Standard 2 in 1 out muffler

Dyno chart - DIN HP, at wheels, corrected for altitude.

AF Ratio

Nice torque curve! I suspect you might pick up a bit on the low end if you can lean out the fuel curve at 3K. I can't tell if this is from accel pumps dumping too much fuel or the transision from idle to main jets.

I bet it revs very quick!

I was actually suprised at the torque curve myself - I was thinking it would be a bit peakier with the S cams. I may go down '5' in the size of main jets and see what that does to the AF ratio.

And yes, it revs like crazy!

I for got to add - the 3k rich is the accel jets - I'm going to back them off just a bit.
