Currently trying to figure out how the hell to have the car done by May. I'll let you all know if the project plan proves it reasonable.

good show Kenik. Are you going to be able to run those buckets? I thought Henry told me you can't fit the hardware/socket in there.

Henry (or is it Aaron ) just did me a very similar set-up, based on a totally crapped out '69E set-up (very corroded). Man they are so light weight! Stack; 52- dropping down to 41.5, then the TB from 41.5->40 . Thanks again Aaron and Henry!!

I am only responsible for your stacks, the throttles are all Henry.

Henry/Supertec does need acknowledgment for Kenik's stacks and throttles as I would not have had the proper parts and equipment to do them to the caliber that they are.

Let's be totally transparent. There are numerous peeps that need love on this effort:

Henry Schmidt, Steve Weiner, Aaron Burnham and Bernie Buschen, to start. Henry has more parts and know how in my motor than I could list here. When I visited him and Aaron in Fallrook, CA, I knew these guys were as good as it gets. Aaron is a whirlwind of activity that no one can keep up with; a brain with the ability to make it happen. Steve, what can you say - the guy is so selfless, it's scary and he loves this stuff almost to a fault - potentially the nicest human on the planet. This motor bears his indelible stamp. Bernie, most of you guys don't know - he is under the radar, but is my go to guy for work I won't do myself. Considering the stable of RGrupper cars he handles, not to mention the multiple 935s he manages, I am lucky to have the access I do. He's the tie breaker when everyone else doesn't agree.

Oh yeah, Charles Navarro and John Dougherty have also had more impact on my project than I can adequately credit. These guys are friggin' geniuses, as well. I run Nickies and Dougherty cams for a reason - there is nothing better. PERIOD. Oh and Scott Kinder...there would be no motor without Scott. That '69S motor was they key.

All of these guys have been bottomless wells of knowledege, sounding boards for ideas, resources for work and parts. Most importantly, friends who I trust deeply.

I consider my motor the collaboration of one of the finest virtual race teams someone could ever assemble. I am certain that Marco's commentary will prove to the most salient of all.

Cheers.

I just ordered some R&R H-beam moly rods. I decided to take my crank and grind the journals down to SC diameter to reduce weight - the rods are going to be built to the same dimensions as the Pankl GT3 Gen II rods and will also use Titanium piston pins to reduce rotating mass and rocking forces. This combo still comes in at about half the net price of using the Pankls.
