without question, send them to John Dougherty ("Camgrinder" on this board) I can't give a price as mine were done in a package deal with my camshafts. Good work, great reputation, excellent support.

rocker arm refurbish

Delta camshaft did mine. $6 a piece for resurface if no welding needed to be done.
Had them back in the mail next day. Very quick turn around.

That might depend on the source of the cams. For example, Webcam reground cams use a hard weld process. They suggest new rocker arms or rockers with rehardened tips. Last I looked, they want about $65/rocker to reharden and regrind. You could shop around and source new rockers for that price.

Camshafts with original iron cam lobes seem to do okay with refurbished rocker arms (as long as the hardened friction surface at the tip is still intact).

I'd contact cgarr (Craig Garrett) here on the forums. He refurbs rocker arms with a permaglide bushing better than the original bronze bushings. He could point you to some testing he did on Motodelta GruppeB forums and you'll see some testing he did with these bushings.

Craig also squares the faces on the cam lobe pads and it's my understanding that he's found the pads need very little in terms of refacing, so the hardening is not greatly disturbed?
