Cylinder Head Question
Hi,
In the Rebuild book it mentions on page 153 quote "The Heads should come back from the machine shop completely assembled and ready to install. If you wish to disassemble the heads and check the tolerances and spring heights, see the instructions at this book’s official web site: http://www.101projects.com" I cannot find these instuctions anywhere? Can anyone help? Regards Mick |

You can buy a valve spring compressor from your local NAPA parts store. This will allow you to compress the valves and remove the valve keepers. You can then remove the valves and springs and inspect them to the specs in the rebuild book.
After inspection you can reassemble in the reverse order.
