No-8 o-ring seal.
So I did a great job of assembling my crankcase. Forgot the o-ring on the no 8 bearing. Awsome.

I did not forget my O-ring but mine would probably seal better if I did. I put it in with a light coat of oil and although it didn't leak in the beginning, it leaks like a sieve now. Tempted to just glue the joint but that just wouldn't be right.

lindy that will not help been there done that . they do make a oversize o-ring also paint some light coating of permatex (non hardening) around bearing and o-ring groove . this has been a sore spot on these engines for a long time. good luck regards tom
