2010 GT3 Crankshaft Part number

Looking for the part number for the 2010 GT3 Crankshaft. I know it runs $1800 from the dealer, but the parts department at the dealership near my home, the counter monkey has no clue..

TIA....

Gt3

That is interesting Andrew15, the dealership is $1800, and I know there are two or three variants of GT3 shafts. We are in the process of a CMW stroke rebuild after snapping a CMW ground 3.0 shaft, and the realization that another grind is futile. We plan on a GT3 shaft and custom rods from Charlie at LN.. 132mm to be exact. With 100mm jugs.

Let me look into this PP pricing..

Thanks!

Hmm. . . that was a change up that just went by. . . to maintain the original geometry you would have to use a 62mm stroke to fit 132mm rods. . .unless you are moving the rod up in the piston. So that works out to 2,922 cc. But a GT3 crank is a 76.4mm stroke. So without moving the pin you end up with a motor that is 7.2mm too wide. Help me out here if I am missing something.

Here is the original build of the CMW engine.

Euro SC case
CMW Grind on a stock 3.0 crank to 77.5
Custom Cunningham rods 130mm
Custom JE Pistons 100mm with Mahle Motorsports 100mm Cyls

So, since the crank snapped due to the over machining of the rod journals, which breaksout at the oil passages, we are going with a GT3 crank and 130.5mm rods to get us back to the deck we need. TurboKraft has done similar mods with a GT3 crank, so it should be ok..

I was just looking into sourcing one of the 2010 GT3 crankshafts
but there is none to be had -- even in Germany, back ordered indefinitely.

alternatives in the same performance/price range?

I keep hearing they are back ordered so long that there is no date. turbo kraft got about the last one avaiable and they havent been able to get any more of them. I think henry schmidt was going to have another batch of his custom super tech cranks made up. If you did that you would still be able to use the set of rods you have.
