who's the most reasonable for twin plugging
I am collecting parts to efi my turbo I have a spare set of heads. I just had them ported and matched for the 3.2 intake. Any way he didn't have a jig for drilling them for twin plugging he mostly does heads for NASCAR. So i need to get them drilled for twin plugs still. Who is the most reasonable for this? I will send them disassembled. So they just have to be drilled and sent back.

Stock plugs are 14mm. The serious racers use 12mm instead. I wonder why, is it to preserve more thermal mass in the head and more strength?

Ken,
I have used ollies for all of my case mods and they are tops...... Can't go wrong with them. JB is located in Florida as you are, so shipping is easier/less $$ and they build some serious motors with a great reputation both on track and street. I have had great service from both. Jimmy |

twin plug
Ken, less the holes in the covers will reduce about 25.00, the reason to use 12 mm is to keep the head vol. down for compression, we weld up the bathtub size stock relief and reduce that as well to keep the vol down, the more dome you keep out of the chamber the better they breathe.

OK that makes sense but it shouldn't really matter that much in a turbo motor should it? And what plug would be the equivalent of a w3dpo in a 12mm plug?

Drive it like u stole it.

Did Ollies move from CA to Arizona? I used Ollies for all of my machine work. Very satisfied with everything. I would have to admit that if I were to do it over again I would more than likely use JB Racing though. They have an excellent reputation and are in driving distance from me. All the shipping was a pain. If I had the cash I would put all my parts in the back of my wife's SUV and drive them up to Mike Bruns and have him assemble and tune my Motec ECU . I just want to drive my car again.....

That said, i'm a supporter of cgarr because he's a good friend in our "local" circle of midwest DIY'ers and racers. If you have something good to barter, Craig probably can't be beat. ![]()
