Which Nut to Use?

About to seal up my case (again) in the morning and wanted to confirm that I am using the correct nuts to secure the oil pump before doing so. As of right now I am using the locking tabs and M8 Oval-Shaped Locking Nuts that came in my Pelican Super Parts kit. Any issues? Pretty sure that I don't want to use a nylon lock nut inside the case but wanted to confirm before closing it all up.

Thanks,

We use a prevailing torque nut on all oil pump studs.
The factory uses a standard hex nut with a lock tab.
