Any Use For Complete 2.7?
May have finally located an early car for a hot rod project.
Also happen to have a spare 2.7 complete engine that came with another track car. Does the 2.7 (or parts from it) have any value whatsoever as the basis for a carbed street engine, i.e. can the crank, p/c's, heads be used in conjunction with a later 3.0 or 3.2 case?? I realize that there are some very strong 2.7's out there, however if I ever decide to sell the car I am a little concerned with the perceptions that potential buyers could have with a 2.7 engine. Thanks! Lindy |

2.7
Based upon the somewhat minimal responses (0), unless someone chimes in I guess this is a good enough reason tof orget the 2.7 as a source of useable parts and build that "big block" I've been wanting to do!

2,7 and 3,0 and later cases are different (unless 3,0 Carrera).

If you have a good one then save it as backup... if it is numbers matching then I wouldn't separate from the chassis even if it rolls on a cart as a spare when you sell the car.
