				frest engine where can this leak come from?
			 
			Hi guys just installed newly rebuilt engine with writewood racing gaskets I have a leak by one of the nuts of the oil cooler not the part on the bottom where in it rounded? can this come from the seal? bolts are tight thanks for your help Erick   | ||

			Thanks Henry here is a better picture I hope ,that's all I have leak by one of the nuts of the oil cooler not the part on the bottom where in it rounded? it the facing the back of the car Thanks | ||

			I suppose that possibly from one of the upper seals.  Did you have the cooler cleaned/pressure tested prior to start-up?  I had mine fail on one of the fins close to the base of the cooler - initially thought it was a seal.

			Yes I have it cleaned and pressure tested it was done by a company in California that does ultrasonic cleaning

			That looks like an oil cooler seal leak. However, take a fresh, white paper towel and with the engine cool reach around the intake and dab the towel all around the breather, oil  temp/pressure sender area (triangle of death) and then inspect the towel. Any fresh oil on the towel may indicate this is your problem and it in running down the front of the engine by the cooler (typically how the TOD leaks show up).

			On late 80's block There is a place where époxy is needed There is some sort of tube that goes through the casing
