Just a work of art and perfection. That owner is a lucky person to receive one of your engines.

Damn Henry! You need to put a warning at the beginning of posts like this. I had kids in the room with me and they almost saw the pictures of this raw sexiness that you posted.

Looks like a good solid day or two of assembly there!!
Curious, what magic goo did you put on oil return tube o-rings and also the o ring behind the camshaft retaining plate? |

Thank you all for the kind words. As much as I enjoy sharing our process, the real purpose of the post was to show the readers that we use the exact techniques that I advocate on this forum. Some people have suggested that I post here simply to sell our parts and as much as I appreciate the sales, helping Pelicans build the best engine you can is actually our goal.

We don't work on the cars so we rarely have pictures of the finished project. If this customer chooses to send me a picture, I'll post it with his permission.

I like the jet nuts you are using on the carb flanges. What are they 12mm across the flats?

The nut we like for mounting the carburetor is a tall 8x1.25 with an 11mm head. The tall nut makes for easy access. We have a kit that includes 12 Jet nuts, 12 tall nuts and 12 an washers. ![]() ![]()

Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
I especially like the stainless braided cam oil lines. Why the single air filter? Won't that affect the HP?
