TPS Sensor
Trying to track down my intermittent accell problem. Engine idles good, starts good. Fuel mixture good. But from time to time, accelerating from a low rpm, it will just not rev up like the engine does not know the throttle is opening. Could their be a bad spot on the TPS sensor?

What car? Vacuum leaks will exhibit this running condition.

Are we talking about a 3.2 Motronic/Carrera engine? Could be the TPS which you can check for function with a multimeter for it's resistance values throughout the travel range.
Also could be a faulty airflow meter. The airflow meter has a wiper arm that pivots and tracks on electrical contacts inside the unit. Over time that contact gets worn and can create a driveability issue.

the tps is only a switch on a carrera. turns off the AC when at full throttle. Your AFM is likely not working. this would be a good time to make the MAF mod and get some more horsepower.
