Motoyoyo - If you can work out the RD barbacks in black I'm also interested in a set of black single bolt clamps.

Scott, will you give us a heads-up just prior to placing the order?
For now, put me down for one single bolt set in black but I'll tinker with the height issue in the next couple of days and may change to the double-bolt design. thanks,

Thanks everyone for getting the order list started. We still have a week or so before Mike can start cutting metal since the material is just now being ordered. I'll have him start with the lower clamps first since those will all be the same.
To everyone considering the tripleclamps, I need to strongly recommend the single bolt top clamp set over the two bolt set due to it being much more suitable for all handlebar positions. The extra clamping area of the two bolt clamp will not result in any more flex reduction than the single bolt clamp will afford. The majority of the flex reduction will be handled by the lower clamp, so do not choose the two bolt top clamp because you think it is stronger than the single bolt top clamp. If you ever want to use the stock low bar position, do not choose the two bolt top clamp. With the single bolt top clamp you can always go lower than the stock low bar position with additional spacers if desired, but you can always return to the stock low position if you need to. I have decided to go with the single bolt top clamp for my own bike for this very reason and would recommend this to everyone else as well.

Thanks for the advice, Scott.
In that case I'll stick with the single bolt, black set.

I'm putting together a list of everyone that has contacted me so far and let me know which clamps they want. Everyone has chosen black anodize including myself so far, so I'm planning to do them all in black unless someone wants theirs unfinished. If we do any clear anodize there will be a minimum $50 charge, so it might not be worth it for only one or two sets.
I've made some adjustments to the dimensions on the double bolt top clamp that will make the top handlebar position exactly the same as the single bolt top clamp and also same as stock. Previously I had coaxed the maximum height I could get in order to raise the low bar position as much as possible. Since most people that are going with the double bolt top clamp are mounting their bars above the clamp I decided to keep the top height stock and drop the low position accordingly. The low handlebar position on the double bolt top clamp is now .320" below stock. If you have any desire for this low position, please try it out first with some spacers. Still not recommended for anyone to use this low of a bar unless they have long arms and like a very aggressive low stance. Here is the list of everyone that has reserved their clamp sets since I posted official prices. If you don't see your name on the list and mentioned you were interested before just let me know an I'll get your order in. I need at least one more to get these prices. I may have left off some that were interested before I posted prices, so you will need to tell me again if you still want in on this deal and I'll get you on the list. Jony that sounds like a good plan! So, are you in for a set of clamps? Last time you posted you were trying to decide between the single or double top clamp. I haven't put you on the list yet until you give me the final word. I'll definitely take you up on the whifky and stogies though.

Ahh, very good. You threw me off by emailing me from your work I guess. I thought that was you but didn't know for sure. Cool, you'll be stylin dude.
I'll keep you all up to speed on the progress. I've got the down payment covered so when I get parts in hand I can get the shipping charges figured out for each of you and everyone can pay up at that time. I take Paypal payments if anyone wants to settle up that way otherwise I'll take a check too. Anyone that wants their barbacks black anodized should send them directly to captainnasty within a couple weeks. Email me for his shipping info.

ErricZ, well if it makes the decision any easier for you, these clamps may never be available again after this run. In order to keep the price as low as possible for everyone, I'm making no profit at all on these clamps so there is little incentive for me go through this again after this run is complete. Captainasty has given us a great price that I couldn't even begin to approach with any of the other bids I had from my local machine shops. I'll need to get the final list of buyers complete within about a week so we can get parts hopefully by Christmas. BTW, one more added today.

Andrew, I'll have to get an update from Mike based on the final count on total sets to be machined. He has to ship the parts out of State for anodizing so that may slow it down a bit too. Best guess at this point is you should have parts by Christmas.
If you need tear down and assembly of your stock parts it will add a day or so if I have your parts in hand when the new parts are delivered to me. If you are doing your own assembly I might be able to have Mike send the clamps directly to you and I can mail the hardware and roundel separately which could get the parts to you up to a week early.
