This morning's dog walk... We run into Taylor all the time. He's not normally too fond of small dogs, but he's warming up to this pack.
  Taylor and his mom:  Gromit taking the high ground...   Zeke and Bodhi wait and watch.  These were all taken with the new Olympus E-510. The first two were accidentally taken at ISO 1600, and came out well. The camera is small and very light for a DSLR, and for the money with the two kit lenses IMHO is an amazing value that covers a very wide zoom range. I'd say right up there with Canon and Nikon, and in some ways better, for half the price. Be a good kit to carry on a bike.

Was the sun already down in this pic, or was it just getting dark in the valley because of the mountain cover and you utilized the remaining daylight to get the colors? Craig?... also, what settings did you use? Love the color on the rocks to the right of you.... unreal!

Help Me...
Wandering around in the middle of nowhere by work yesterday with our environmental engineer.
I suddenly heard a voice. It kept saying "Help me..., help me.." A sad forlorn hoot, full of despair.  So I spotted these wells. And peeked inside..  And look what was there. So we found a big stick, which it grabbed onto with all its might. (No pictures, sorry)  And set it free.  The end. We figured that it probably chased a rabbit down the hole and then couldn't get out. The rabbit might have hopped out, leaving the owl. These big birds need room to get flying.
