Hi Bill,
These shots are taken with a little Pentax Optio W30 waterproof camera that I keep tucked in the front pocket of my lifejacket on a leash. I usually also carry another camera wrapped inside some dry bags tucked inside the hatch but the pictures that you can get whilst paddling are often priceless. ...just a little teaser for the track day... that was this morning at Buttonwillow Raceway, entrance to the AFM Sweeper... just getting set up for it... the Guy behind me is Tom Montano (there was a picture of him last weekend, where he finished first ahead of BP46!)... unfortunately he can not come to the track day, as he will be coming back from the TT race at the Isle of Man that day... danged!
 Was a great track day, except for the fact that Chuck Sorensen (3 time AMA Champ) had a bad get-off in turn 2 at about 70 MPH when the linkage on the rear shock of his Triumph 675 broke and locked and exploded the rear tire pretty much instantly... he was thrown through the infield and across the track in turn 3... he walked away from it, but had a badly hurt shoulder and some other bruises...

Love the track, you can only get this look there... unless you are Tuna, Brooks or Jose...   Austin Lancaster... almost as fast as Dad... hauling A$$ in the dirt!  Chuck and Tom on the way home... check out his bike on the right! Ouch!

Poppy Time
Here is a couple of shots after a ride on the 166 to the 33 then lockwood valley road home.This is outside lake Elizabeth in the poppy reserve

Found another bird out of its nest... well my Daughter did.
It was hiding in some English Ivy, at the base if a pine tree in our front yard. My daughter scavenged around the wood pile in the back yard and caught a few earthworms to feed it. Bird is in the lower right corner...  Eating the worm...  Happy bird...   Back to hiding...  30 minutes later one the birds parents came by and gave it another worm.

Looks like you're moving right along there, Ralf. But what's with the Mike Hailwood toe feeler thingy? You're going to have to tape up a hole if you keep that up.
