...Always been riding that way, John... that's why I have boots with toe-sliders Ruined many-a-boots that way in ye olden days... when the toes tapped, I was approaching the limit of the tires in the 70's... Pirrelli Phantom, was the tire of choice!

Went out experimenting with a new lens tonight. There were great storm clouds behind me...

Sick! This is just plain Sick!

Craig, what you get to see on your daily short (and long) trips ALMOST makes up for the lack of Ocean!

Unbelievably beautiful... the depth of the image with the different layers is incredible!

WOW!

Some birds can run quicker than fly....

Saw this roadrunner as we pulled into my dads place today.

The bird was quick to get away... but this guy let me get a close up.

and flowers... well unless the wind is blowing they stay put...

One of the reasons I went up to my dads place, was to see if he needed any help since he is aging.... But he soon brought my memory back that I shouldn't volunteer to help...
First he had me and my kids, shoveling compost on his garden.... Then I was riding around on a fork truck with a chainsaw...

I think I figured out why my brother Rob moved away to Arizona..

Nice pics Bill...You should be wearing a body harness when you stand on a Forklift that high off the ground. At a minimum you could tie a rope on your belt loop and then to the lift...and Oh!...what about eye protection when using a Chainsaw?

Nice shots Bill, thanks for posting, Dad's place looks good.

As far as the safety harness...standing on a fork lift with a chainsaw is pretty safe compared to some of the stuff that had to be done. I remember helping put the metal roof on that barn when I was in High School. I don't like heights to this day.

Ah the Corvair,

We had one when I was in 6th grade. Monza Spider convertible. Blue, white top.

Those abandoned vehicles, tucked into the woods, various state license plates, man with a chainsaw... it reminds me of a movie I saw once...

I learned how to drive in a 1965 Monza 110hp. The Spider was turbocharged if I remember right.

Lol! Me too. You had to establish a relationship with that car before you could get 4th gear.

I didn't know that... I had moved out by then... I figured you learned in that POS Horizon...

But since we are on the subject of you driving Rob... When are you going to come back to AR. and retrieve your first car???

I bet it would cost you more in gas to drive it to AZ. than you paid for the car.
