All pictures were taken with my 10D and the Canon EF 70-200mm 1:2.8 L Lens, no filter and mixed light conditions... from cloudy to partially cloudy.

Did you add make up with photoshop.... to some of those gals... or do they really put it on with a trowel in CA. ?

Oh, I stayed away from the REALLY BAD ones, Bill... CA is VERY, VERY superficial!

Nice pictures Ralf. I saw a horse today, but it was not moving very fast, just enjoying the green grass we have from all the summer rains.

Can you ride all around those areas or is it off limits? How accessible is that sort of country, in terms of visiting?

Arizona? pretty accessible really, though there is a struggle between recreational users of public lands and the eco-crowd, for the most part you can move freely about the place. Last number I saw was a few years ago, but only 17% of AZ is private property.

Yep, what Brian said, and to add to that lots of the privately owned ranch land has gates with a sign to please close the gate. Sometimes gates are locked but usually not if there is a private road that passes through the land. I took those pictures on private land. If you respect people's property they are usually fine with you using it.

There are lots of trails and old mining roads near where we live. Come on out, we can go for a ride.
