Steve Carlton 03-23-2009 06:25 AM

Sweet Jeep, Bill! I see you got it in the fastest color...

ckcarr 03-23-2009 07:21 AM

I could use a Jeep like that. Cool color, I could picture it with Moab sand and mud all over it! Jeep safari is coming up. You could really break it in!

Mine is the devil Jeep. Pulled out of the garage yesterday and gas started gushing out the rear by the tank. All I could do was watch. Now it's stopped. I'm hoping I just way overfilled the tank.

Nice rock wall, but where's the anger ?

AZ-Twin 03-25-2009 08:38 PM

You want anger, I got anger.:D

As most of you know I am known for posting "mediocre, bland vacation snapshots" I am cool with that. :D

Here is a shot of a sand storm off the roof of my villa in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, that is where my current "vacation" brings me. This is a lovely place, this picture does not do justice for the amount of sand in the air. It is difficult to breathe, and keep one's eyes opened.

I call this one...."What a $hithole." If you have been here, you know why.

Nope. Not even close. That's the Colorado, this is the Green. (I gave a clue...)

On bad days Utah is not beautiful...
Brutal sandstorms, wind, tumbleweeds... I wish I could have done it justice, but I'd need Clint Eastwood in Lago.
You would NOT want to be here on a motorcycle.

Yeah, I have experienced that once - for about 4 hours. Started in Cainville and lasted all the way through Green River... up to 50 MPH side winds, blinding sand and 0 visibility...

I am still finding sand from that experience on my Harley... 4years later!

Went on an overnighter adventure ride through the Ozark National Forest, with the wife.. Woke up to this today...

The Claw...

wswartzwel 04-04-2009 06:49 PM

While out Jeep riding this weekend I saw one of those birds swoop about 10 feet in front of my windshield. It was giving a small ground squirrel a joy ride. I never knew animals in nature behaved so kindly.

ckcarr 04-04-2009 06:52 PM

He was just moving it off the road before you ran it over.
