Well, I was hoping to bring this thread back to the front to inform everyone that the clamps were finished and ready to send out, but I'm sorry to say that is not the case. I was informed by Mike that the job has been delayed again and probably won't be ready for another two weeks. If Mike wasn't such a nice guy and didn't live so far away I'd have to kick him around a bit to get this job back on track. Anyone out in the Memphis area that wants to pay him a visit for me...

Sorry for the delay on the parts and I hope no one else has sold their bike while waiting for them. As long as it doesn't take too much longer the parts will be worth the wait, I promise. They are due to start up again right after Thanksgiving and should be wrapped up soon after that. I will let you all know at least by two weeks from now and hopefully sooner, what the status is on the parts. If anyone has any issues with the wait on the parts please contact me through my email.

Yeah, I'm especially sorry because most of you, yourself included have already paid for your parts a while ago. I'm going to be sure to put a bag of M&M's in each box before they go out.

Chris, thanks for the good word about the clamps and glad you are enjoying them. You will soon have a fourth UK set of R1100S triples when Tony Hol gets his clamps from this run. Still, a rather exclusive group. Almost enough members to justify getting together once in a while over a pint, eh? Wish I could join you guys for that too. Maybe someday.

John will run a full factory Superbike next year,so i'll have a ringside seat,went to the UK bike show today,still shocked at seeing the road going GP bike in the flesh pheww!!!

The GP road bike comes out at about $74000!!! but you do get free serviceing!!!,i'm told even the importers won't have a demo bike suprise suprise.

Well, I've been trying to avoid this, but the clamps are not done yet. Mike has had to expidite some orders for his more regular and obviously higher priority customers and had not started the clamps as of last Friday. He assures me that he will have them completed by the end of THIS week. I have already had one person that is tired of waiting inquire about a refund. I understand completely everyone's frustration and will not hesitate to refund anyone that is fed up with the delay. If you can all just hold tight to see if we have finished parts within a week, I can process any refunds after that if anyone wants out. I'm really sorry this has drug out this long and can hopfully get parts SOON

As of today all of the top clamps have been machined and the lower clamps are being worked on tomorrow. All of the machining and polishing will be wrapped up by Friday and all but SandCityFlyer's clamps will be off to the anodizer on Monday. Mike will be shipping all the parts to me by Tuesday of next week.

I will be shipping parts to those that have paid for them and are installing the clamps themselves first. There will be detailed instructions in the box describing specific tools and fixtures that are required to do the job. Anyone that has not paid for their clamps yet need to do so before I can send them out. Those of you that are having me swap your ball joints and ignitions can get started removing your stock clamps and shipping them to me. Email me if you need my shipping address, motoyoyo@verizon.net

Those of you that are having me install your clamps should contact me to make arrangements. With Christmas fast approaching it may get complicated but I will try to be available any week day or weekend, by arrangement, for installations. Allow about 2-3 hours to complete the job, so plan your day accordingly. Again, I'm very sorry for the long and many delays but the wait is over and we can get on with the good stuff.

Tony, you should have no problem as long as you gather up the proper tools and be prepared to grind on some of them. You will also need to make a fixture to hold the clamps when swapping the ball joints. I described everything you will need in the instructions that I will send out with each set of clamps. Of course, if you do everything as I show then you will be an expert and I will have to send everyone to your house for installations.

Sergio...does this mean you found a bike already?
