The BMW screen looks very nice, but I honestly like the look of the Puig better.

Those guys are great. I spoke with Chris today and he ordered me one for my r12s. I've been trying to get one for over 6 months now and even went so far as to buying some semi-gloss black paint for plastic. It seems there is light at the end of the tunnel.....

Had you tried OFD? I notice your in California... I called Indy as well- they said they would need to order them - it seemed like the smoke colors are more popular (stocked) than the clear.

Not only do I think the PUIG looks better, it works better, won't scratch as easly, and at less than $100.00 US dollars it's probably one of the cheapest/most effective items you can get for the 12S ("for me" it now gives the 12S, 1100S like wind protection, which was missing with the stock screen).

They have a really large, graphic intense, PDF website but no mention of anything BMW. The guys at Indy said they were getting all kinds of business from "some forum". I should get it in a week or two. After this long.....I can wait.

They're the first group I tried. It was backordered forever but they were really up front with a refund. Good group of people.

I cut the tubing to size and stuck in on without any adhesive. Not sure if I liked it or not. It peeled off that night and I have not bothered to re-apply it.

I ordered smoke thinking I'd get something lighter, but I got black. Looks OK I guess. Gotta ride it some to see how I like it. The air hits a bit higher on the shoulders and a bit below my helmet....noise is about the same. Jury still out on looks and function.

Thanks volo, I think it's black for me...btw - getting the head covers painted matt black next week, got the smoked indicators on with the chrome bulbs...aah, she's coming along nicely now
