if you bring anything to my surprise birthday party, make it either cash or the equivalent in fresh sod.

anyone else notice flatty's obsession with me minus pants?

thanx for the candy TM! Do you have a van?

as far as fire marshalls and permits....i laugh in their general direction!
(actually having 2 firemen on the block requires i read the rule book, but i read them very carefully, which means i get away with stuff like the following...my front yard this past halloween):

i'm particularly proud of the fact that i had the only moustached, schite grinning pumpkin on the block with flames coming out of his eyes.
yup. only one.
(also thought i was sporting the only pumpkin wearing a hat with teeth, but i was told "eh, been done...." by a guy carrying a chain saw.

Not sure why everyone is reposting this pitcher but it reminds me of my first grade graduation and so it's kinda cool and I like chain saws so here it is again.

Lessee....what else.

Oh yeah. Happy belated b'day bro brad.

thanx everybody.
glad you like the picture.

this weekend i'm carving a turkey for thanksgiving.
haven't figured out how to light it on on fire yet....but there's a few beers left in the fridge, so...inspiration will probably show up around beer #2....maybe #3.

and speaking of turkeys, i'm planning to cook one in the sand down at the beach, like a pig at a luau, or a clam/lobster bake like they do on the east coast.
i've checked with "The City of...", and the Lifeguards and the State & Rec lady. They think i'm a little odd (surprisingly), but apparently it's allowed as long as you use the existing cement fire ring (kind of like a big donut). It's large enough for a big bird, potatoes, corn, etc....

the theory is: dig out the fire ring deeper, start a really big fire early in the morning, add in a bunch of mexican pebbles (each about the size of a decent burger patty) to hold heat.
let it burn down, chuck in the bird, followed by layers of wet burlap, corn, potatoes and sand. wait a few hours, dig it out.
you're all invited.
whoever helps dig gets the wishbone.

anybody ever done this with a turkey?
that google dude ain't got squat for info.
apparently mr. google doesn't know everything after all!

i guess i could call James Stewart and ask him to check with his mom Martha, but i hate to bother the boy while he's training for the upcoming supercross series in january.

I've only done that with a pig. Per your post above... define 'bunch' as it pertains to Mexican pebbles.

I'd say the bunch is directly proportional to the time said bird will be covered by burlap and banana tree leaves (you can also possibly get away with using bird of paradise leaves, the big purple/black ones, the bird, not the leaf).

My dad used to do it but it takes a long time to cook, he wrapped the bird in parchment then
burlap, to keep it moist, and used larger stones, this process took a long time you need
to keep it hot enough to heat the turkey in the center. He didn't do it on the beach.

I smoked a turkey once, it was delicious, but wifey did not like it. This year I get my choice of Holidays. Wifey is making latkes and chocolates. My mother is making the turkey and stuffing.

I think latkes and sour creme sounds great!

BZDC;
WTFO??

We waited as long as we could but someone broke out the nyborg and next thing we knew Phoenix was goin' bats**t 'cause the shields were off again...just like last time. Never fly too stoned, I always say. Good thing I was just along for the ride...JAFO, as always.

Great ride, tho my wrists and ankles chafe now from the straps. Neck gets stiff, too, they need a new ergo contractor if I'm gonna be tied up for a full gulletchute run down the riff.

JF managed to score you a unit patch for your dittybag though; let me know where to send it..I do need the tesseract coords, in gal-mgrs, though....enjoy.

I am all about recognition and all that but are we going to have to to do this every year.

Oops!, sorry, was just thinking to myself. Happy B-day. I got the clown lined up and he was a little too eager when I said there might be kids so I had to hold him back.

nope, i eliminated/eradicted/removed an extreme under-skin irritant a couple of years back.

expensive extraction, but worth it.
