Macadamia Metallic in 2001?
Macadamia Metallic 2001 Boxster S. Any theories out there why my 2001 Boxster S is Macadamia Metallic and yet it is not listed as a colour for Porsche in 2001? Logically I could assume it was repainted but it looks like the original paint and when I bought touch up paint from the Porsche dealer using the paint code on my "frunk" sticker the brown paint matched the existing car paint. The brown colour seems darker than the Macadamia Metallic on later model Porsches. Mine looks black until the sun shines on it and then its definitely brown. I love the colour and it seems unique.

A google shows that color introduced in 2008 as a new color. There was no such color listed on the build sheet I had for my US 2001 S. There is always a chance of a paint to sample.

What is the paint code # from your Frunk sticker? Agreed yours appears "blacker" than the later color that came out around 2008.
