Hey, I have a non-S 2002 Cooper. Can the harmonic dampener be replaced by the 2004 model rather than the current three-spokes layout ?

Good question, I have not done or heard of that swap. The engine block and crank are the same. SO - if the pulley diameter is the same, it should be OK.
