Agreed, I watch it daily. You'll see my S8 there soon, c'mon big money!

Bring the Boxster up on Friday if it doesn't rain.

Dunno yet, something newer, cheap, and low miles that requires less tinkering.

Oh come on. I'm counting on you to keep that car, in case I need to replace my 03 somewhere down the road.

I would look at this S8 but I'm addicted to my E320s never needing any work.

My sense is a high mileage dedicated owner S8 is a better car than one with half the miles and 4X the owners.

It’s like any European car, maintenance is key.

Verdict is in:
I have a new found love for my Boxster.
3.2 vs 3.6, wasn't feeling any real difference. Highway and back road.
Steering- Boxster more rack & pinion, 911 very power. Like I could turn with a finger. Didn't like.
Feel: big vs small (not miata small but in a modern porsche sense.
Styling: 986 is timeless in my opinion, 996 a bit dated. Maybe some new rims would help.

In 911 defense, my car has 53k vs 101k so it wasn't quite as tight as I would have liked. Motor has 65k. I just saw lots of $ getting it in the condition I would like.

Anyhow, never thought I would be saying it, the 911 craving is over. Anyone got a cayman I can review. Actually drove a 2008 base, loved it.

In closing, the 2002 carrera is a fine car, just not for me and who cares what I say, I drive a boxster after all.

That thing is horribly ugly, so glad you are keeping your Boxster. Sorry about today but it's pouring out now, not much fun to be had. Unless you wanted to help clean the shop!

No problem, we will try again soon. I need my ethnic food fill.
Did you hit your head? Never thought I would ever hear you say to keep my hair dresser mobile.
