The longest you've owned a car

Going on 18 years for the 911. Cool thread...lots of first time posters too...that have obviously been lurking around us ol' "newbies" in silence .

It is funny how life is different for everyone (a good thing). My dad was an Air Force pilot. We moved regularly. I think it was my 18th move when I left home to strike out on my own. I went to 11 different schools between 1st and 12th grade.

Since moving out from mom and dad, I have rented at two places, and I bought a house. Since then then I have had two other house. So just 5 moves in the last 40+ years.

I bought my 356 super 1961 in 1968 from the first owner.So it has been 50 years. I still drive it about once a week.Many great memories.
