I have one of these, pretty handy actually.. a lot quicker than dragging out a jack to change a flat on a trailer etc.. If you over drive it all that happens is wheel lands back on the ground and the thing falls over.. Still need jackstands for more involved work.

Don’t have to worry about gas tanks on a trailer. I think that’s cool as hell, I might grab one to keep in my truck when I tow my boat.

I would not try it on the car.
It looks to only work on a solid axle, which would limit it to pickups, Jeeps, and old school SUVs.

Yeah, might be too tall for your Jetta.

I may look at getting one for my 30' camper...put a block of wood under it so it doesn't sink into the ground, and slowly roll it forward to elevate. It would save havng to carry a heavy jack.

If you have a 2 axle trailer you can drive up on a couple of 2 x 4's under one tire and raise the other tire off the ground. BTDT.

Looks handy for a trailer. I've done as Paul said, problem with a 2 axle trailer is sometimes a road hazard wipes out both tires.....BTDT . Then I'm not sure the axle jack would work.

I think the driving up on plank trick only works on trailers with Dexter torsion axles.. With leaf springs the other wheel stays on the ground...Had to change a shackle on a tripe axle leaf spring trailer recently when we jacked the axle with the cracked shackle to remove the leaf spring, the other two axles drooped was being raised
