![]() I did have to get a standard 17MM crowfoot, non line wrench to get the return fuel line nut to break loose. That photo is not my car, but that line is well hidden, and a real pain in the knuckles to get it to break free. I was replacing the two plastic fuel lines on my 85 Carrera.

If I recall 11mm was used on drum brake VW brake bleeders, or maybe on the brake line nut. Pretty sure I have a Mac 11mm line wrench with the outside ground down for clearance between the bleeder and the brake line nut.

4 months ago I was making an adjustment to the 4 post lift in the raised position while standing on a step ladder. Yes I was using a 10mm socket. It dropped to the floor and took off like a cheetah. I had a general idea of the direction. Several very thorough searches yielded nothing. Woke up last night with an idea of where to search. Sure enough there it was. It went 23 feet diagonally across the floor, inside the other leg post and some how bank shot itself out of sight. Willie Mosconi and Minnesota Fats would be proud of the multiple bank shot it took to get in there. Picture is of it tipped on it's side to show the location. Finding it feels lucky, maybe I should buy a lottery ticket. I also have a lost hammer that cost 150 bucks to get back but that's a story for another time.
Enjoy the holidays......Ray ![]() |

That set had a 16 MM as well. I don't know if I ever used that one yet.

7/16. I use them interchangeably unless it’s something valuable.
