Need to see a pic of the sofa to see if it looks comfy, you know, just as a "Plan B".

Ok, toilet seats... The lid is there for a reason. Get a soft close and tell her to always close the lid. Easy flick. You do the same. All is good.

Toilet paper. If it bugs you that it's not on the dowel, put it on the dowel. If it bugs her, that it's not on the dowel, then she should deal with it. If that's too much hassle for both get one of the L-shaped holders.

Reviving old, but noteworthy, thread.

2 months ago I loaned the GF 2 4ft long bar clamps so she could glue a broken chair seat. This week I needed them to build some speaker cabinets. Naturally, she has not used them yet, but agrees to leave them where I can find them while she is at work. So I drive the gas guzzling Pig 60 miles round trip to find: 1 bar clamp.

She doesn't answer her phone or text until 6 hours later and swears that I only gave her the one clamp, but refuses to go look in her car, because it's too cold (36F).

Who loans a single clamp when you have a pair?

Super funny thread!

Why does she: Continue to buy new shoes, then keep telling me to take my old clothes which I still wear to the donations bin

I never realized all women tell you to turn after the turn!, I almost said the F-word in front of my kids the last time she did that...

I had my mom with me in my 914 many years ago, I was on a major road with a 40 MPH speed limit. As we came almost even to a side street, she said, turn here. I did. Slight 4 wheel drift and ended up with the rear end a little sideways, but I made the corner. After that, she gave me lots of notice to turn at a corner. She never said anything about the corner until I got her back home. She was sure we were going to roll over. I assured her that is impossible in a 914 without hitting a curb while sideways or a big hole.

She is actually smart, a Supervisory GS-13, just a bit forgetful at times. Her work building is metal sheathed and cell reception is minimal.

We still can't find the clamp.

Two year bump.
My wife is a nurse, and isn't supposed to have her phone while she's on the floor. She takes it anyway but turns off the ringer. The problem comes at the end of the day, she texts me "Stopping at the store, need anything?" I'll reply, she will come home without what I asked for. "I forgot to turn the ringer on, and didn't see your reply".

Bigger problem: Me:"Any mail I need to deal with?" Her:"No, you just got a card from the tax place". Later I find the envelope that says "Important tax documents enclosed" under the card. One year she misplaced a 1099, and I had to amend our return. I see she hasn't changed.
